Yes they are small and beautiful and smell of heaven.
But when they look at someone, they see with perfect eyes.
Non judgmental eyes that only see what is.
When you ask them a question it comes straight from the heart
without judgment or worldly influence.
When children say things that others might take offense to,
I just smile... Knowing they they are being true to themselves.
When my grand daughters look at me I am seen...
they never hesitate to give me a smile and a love.
Remi who is 3 months... I am almost always able to get her to smile
and even to laugh.
Mae will come and sit by me, and lie her head on my shoulder
which she is very selective of doing. When she has something to share
I love how she does so willingly. I love her independence, and her fierceness
with which she faces life, and the joy that she brings into my world.
People who are awake are able to see you for what is
and not what they would like you to be. Children are awake...
I would have had 10 children if I could have, but it is so amazing
and something so very special, to see your children's children. They are amazing...
And I am very blessed

Love those babies!! And yes, there is a reason God tells us to be as little children :) you can learn so much from a small child!!
